Tuition and Payment Terms
All contracts will be closed until next contract starts. There are no contract changes and you are responsible to pay rate as contracted.

**Rates are based on a weekly basis and will be paid on Friday the week before attendance via automatic withdrawal through Brightwheel.
**Tuition is not prorated for holidays, weather closures, sick days or partial attendance.
2 Child Discount (Weekly Rates ONLY) Capped at 15%:
- 10% discount on 2nd child (lowest rate)
- 15% discount on 3 or more children (next lowest rate)
Closures, Fees, and Scheduling Policies
Holidays: The Lakin Foundation CDC of East Mills will be closed on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. There will be early closures on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Families are charged for the holidays above.
Waitlist Fee: If you are interested in interested in enrolling your child and there is no availability, you may place your child on the waitlist with a fee of $35 per family. When your child is enrolled, it will be credited towards the Registration fee.
Registration Fee: When enrolling your child there is a yearly non-refundable registration of $35 per child.
Holding Fee: If a spot becomes available and a child is unable to begin right away, families may secure the space by paying a Holding Fee equal to the weekly tuition rate for their child’s age group. This fee ensures the spot remains reserved and will not be offered to other wait-listed families who are ready to start immediately. If the Holding Fee is not submitted, our center reserves the right to offer the spot to the next eligible family. Please note: The Holding Fee is non-refundable.
Extenuating Circumstance Holding Fee: Reduced full time rate to part time rate to “hold” spot for a max of 3 months due to maternity leave, short term job loss, seasonal employment, etc…This Fee is non-refundable.
Late Pick Up Fees: A late fee of $5.00 every 5 minutes per child will be charged to the parent if the child(ren) are not picked up by 6pm. If there is no communication after 30 minutes, the center is required to report and turn over supervision of the child to law enforcement. Three late pickups will qualify for disenrollment.
Activity Fee: If your child’s classroom participates in a field trip, there may be an associated fee. A signed permission waiver form will be sent out beforehand and if approved, the fee will be withdrawn from the account associated with Brightwheel.
**Drop off and pick up times must be documented within contracted schedules and must be followed. If a child is picked up from care, they will not be able to return to the program after 3 pm.
Late Payment Fee: In the event of a late payment, the Director will issue a reminder to ensure the balance is paid. If payment has not been received by the second Friday after the due date, a $25 late fee will be applied, and the child’s care will be suspended until full payment is received.
Over 50 Hour Fee: The tuition rates include hours for up to 50 hours. To pay for staffing there will be $5 an hour fee for every hour over 50 hours with a max of $50 for the week.
Early Out/Late Start Fee: To help pay for staffing, there will be an added $10 fee for early outs and late starts.
